QUIVER FOR TIME
ARROWS
Facing
any talk about the "mysterious and incomprehensible" nature of time,
I want to say: "No magic, Ladies and Gentlemen!"
The
universal measure of cosmic time (and space) is the speed of light. It is a
constant in vacuum, 300,000 km per second. That is, one second is time light
needs to cover 300,000 km.
Respectively,
one minute is time for the photons to cover 60 times greater distance, namely
18,000,000 km. To express in kilometers one hour, one needs to multiply the
above distance 60 times. Do you want to know what one year is? Here you are!
Light needs one astronomical year to cover 9.5 trillion (9.5 x 10^12) km. A month
is one twelfth of the same number.
14
billion years is a postulated age of Universe. It corresponds to 9.5 trillion
km times 14 billions that is approximately 10^23 km - exactly the radius of
visible Universe.
In
other words,
TIME
is the DISTANCE covered by light for that time.
It
means: ANY TIME CAN BE EXPRESSED IN KILOMETERS.
Important
corollary: If a variable is expressed in units of length, the variable is a
vector. And any vector may not only have positive but also negative direction.
Believe
it or not but existence of negative time is still disputed!
How
come that we have lost the negative time?
Wherever
the observer is located, he can see only light captured by receptors of his
eyes. Photons moving away from the observer are not available for observation.
They can only be seen if they are reflected by another object and get back to
the observer. (Use of assisting optical gadgets does not change the principle).
Thus
a registered light is the light which is emitted or reflected, but it
inevitably should reach the observer.
As
any flash of light takes place before it is seen, movement of photons toward
the observer is directed from past to future. This is a normal, positive flow
of time.
And
vice versa, movement of photons in an opposite direction - away from the
observer- occurs back in time, from future to past.
This
is a negative flow of time when every next position is actually in a more deep
past, compared with the previous one.
From
any point of Universe (so-called "cosmic event"), both directions are
possible, toward the observer into the future (the direct light cone) or away
from the observer, to the past (the reverse light cone).
Excluding
a spot where the observer is placed, any movement from that point is always
directed to past, i.e. away from him.
Movement
backwards, away from the observer, no matter where it starts, always secures a
negative time increment. With this, the value of the increment depends on the
speed of various objects moving in a light flow potentially capable to reflect
these photons and redirect them toward the observer.
If
an object moves slower than light, sooner or later it will be caught up by the
light wave. In this way the object itself becomes a source of the reflected
light and appears in positive time.
All
ordinary cosmic objects that even first were in the reverse light cone of any
light burst later will be always registered by the observer in positive time
although with some delay as secondary sources of light.
For
example, when an astronaut notices time retardation or a space traveler becomes
younger in the "twin paradox" moving away from Earth, they do always
live in the customary to us positive time, despite of a certain negative
increment.
Positive
time is our world, our reality, our measurement, as all objects of the material
(with positive mass) world, including the observer himself, move with
sub-luminous speed.
An
upper (and unattainable) speed limit for such objects is the speed of light.
Only
photons (the visible part of electromagnetic irradiation) and all elementary
particles with no mass ("energy-carrying" particles) in general, can
reach the speed of light.
When
a particle moves away from the observer with the speed of light, a negative
time increment corresponds exactly the positive time elapsed from the starting
point (beginning of counting). The resulting time for such an object is ZERO.
The particle starts moving and reaches destination at the same moment. Its time
stands still. It is so-to-speak "catches up with itself", doubles
like in the double-slit experiment.
An
object moving with the speed of light acquires the ability to be present in several
places at the same time, i.e. it gains the quality of wave. Thus the difference
between wave and particle is that wave can be present in many places
synchronously.
Particle
made of matter becomes quantum of energy. By the way, the ability of photons to
exist in positive and negative time synchronously explains their property to be
antiparticles for themselves.
Finally,
when the object exceeds the speed of light, the negative gain of time becomes
so big that the object"s time will reverse and
become negative followed by reversed cause-and-effect relationships. The superluminous object "reaches its destination before
it has started".
As
superluminous objects cover any distance in space
faster than photons, they are always ahead of the corresponding light wave even
if they are heading towards the observer. This surplus of covered distance (in
comparison with the distance covered by light) will be again directed away from
the observer, also takes place in negative time. Thus, objects exceeding the
speed of light are in negative time constantly, independent of the
directionality of their movement. Having not been reached by light, they are
not able to reflect it and remain invisible.
Negative
time is an invisible realm, another measurement, an alternative reality for the
subluminous observer.
And
in this alternative reality, there might be hidden the "disappeared"
antimatter.
It
is known from the quantum mechanics that antiparticles exist in negative time.
The characteristic spin points at their presence in the reverse, past light
cone.
It
is logical to assume that also on a cosmic scale, there exist clusters
consisted of antimatter, invisible for us because they move with supraluminal speed in negative time.
Indirect
indications of their existence make scientists speak of some mysterious
"dark matter" and "black holes", "swallowing even
light". To be exact, we rather have to talk about the objects not
reflecting light.
If
the existence of superluminous invisible objects in
cosmos is possible, why do we need to speculate about something tentative?
We
"have lost" quite real ANTIMATTER that is supposed to be not less in
quantity than ordinary mass, as according to the law of indestructibility of
matter, pairs of particles-antiparticles appeared and disappeared in the
primordial Universe. If particles continue to exist, why we should expect
different behavior from their counterparts?
It
may be so that the quantity of antimatter is even greater than the quantity of
the "ordinary" mass since the process of annihilation of positive
mass unit (+1) would not only require an imaginary (tachyons) unit (i), but squared imaginary unit (i^2), which can, at a
certain moment, give the required quantity (-1) of mass for annihilation with
the positive one.
To
conclude:
All
contradictions in interpretation of classic theories and the quantum mechanics
are simply due to the fact that an investigator is having difficulty
interpreting macro processes in relation to those described for quantum objects
because on a cosmic scale, the investigator/observer himself is positioned
inside, but not outside the system.
The
above considerations could help in solving many burning problems and
contradictions in Physics, particularly, to comprehend the nature of Big Bang,
which is nothing else than a regular annihilation of all matter of the Universe
with its all antimatter.
This
annihilation Bang is capable of providing gigantic energy to start restitution
of two antipode realms as part of an infinite cycle of radiation-matter
metamorphose.
The
Universe - a unique and comprehensive Cosmic Perpetuum
Mobile - operates in the same way, as the only known to the modern science
eternal system, a pair of particle-antiparticle in vacuum, in compliance with
the law of indestructibility of matter/energy.
